Born in Iran, Hedie came to Sacramento when she was 5 years old. As a young child, Hedie always had a pencil in hand, drawing portraits of family members. Art was always a part of her life and when she moved back to Tehran, Iran, she went to an Art and Architecture school for her high school years. After high school, she moved back to Sacramento, and received her AA at American River College. She then transferred to California State University Sacramento to get her BS in Graphic Design. During her senior year in CSUS, she got most of her design experience working at Circle Design. Right out of school in 2007, she landed a job with Squaretree IT Projects as their Web/Graphic Designer, where she is currently working.

Hedie was involved with ADAC during her years at CSUS, but has become more actively involved now that her schoolwork is no longer a priority. She strongly believes in the future of the club and loves the idea of having an organization for all designers, artists, and creative individuals in Sacramento. She hopes to help the ADAC creative circle grow and thrive for years to come.
